Decorating for the holidays is always such fun. Making sure you’ve created a warm and welcoming vibe for your holiday visitors is the icing on the cake! Today I’m sharing 3 beautiful ways to style your holiday entry table.
There’s nothing I love more than entertaining during this special time of year. Whether it’s a quiet evening with a group of good friends or a full on holiday party, I want that special, festive, feeling to start the moment they step through the front door. To accomplish that, takes a bit of creativity, some trial and error, and a few of your favorite holiday treasures.
1. TOYLAND
My favorite visitors this time of year are always the little ones. Seeing the magic of the season through their eyes is the goal in my first holiday entry table design.
Although we want them to understand the true meaning of Christmas eventually, the anticipation of that visit from Santa is such a fun time.
Do you remember your first doll from Santa Claus? I’m not sure if it was actually my first but there was a year that the only thing I wanted was a Chatty Cathy doll.
Being a teddy bear collector, I am just as excited for a new bear now as I was at 3 years old and who doesn’t love a snowman?
Lights always add so much to any display. Candles and light up decorations should always have a place in the entry.
I take full advantage of my printables this time of year too. They are a wonderful way to keep the cost of decorating to a minimum.
Old toys such as this fire truck help add to the nostalgia this table brings to mind.
The final touch here is a water lantern in the shape of the book, Twas the night before Christmas. The moving glitter when the lantern is turned on captivates everyone, especially the little ones. It really brings the magic of the season home.
TREE FARM
Some of my favorite times with our kids were the annual outings to the Christmas Tree Farm. Finding a tree that everyone liked was always a challenge but each year we ended up with “the best one ever!”
This design reminded me of those treasured memories. I was also able to bring in the buffalo checked accents that I love so much.
I used my Mistletoe Farms print here and a cute little buffalo checked deer.
I took advantage of several trees from my miniature Christmas village as well as my winter stash.
A balsam candle adds the fragrance that you can enjoy when you visit any tree farm.
A basket with a warm throw and a pillow that blends with the theme brings in that winter feel.
Of course, we need a little bit of welcoming light! Twinkle lights on the tree and the pretty lantern accomplishes that.
A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE
Another great way to go is to bring a touch of elegance to the table so to speak. Nothing speaks to elegance as much as gold.
A gold frame holds one of my favorite printables from this year’s collection and coordinates well with a pretty gold mercury tree and a standing noel sign.
I added a gold bow I had on hand from last year’s packages to bring the lampshade into the season. A small pin holds it in place there. Large candlesticks hold some gold sparkle candles on the opposite side.
A pretty gold deer brings additional sparkle and a velvet Christmas stocking adds more depth to the picture.
Stacked pillows bring a bit of warmth to the table. A rich tapestry pillow paired with one for the Christmas season, complete with gold sewn on beads, looks so pretty!
Garland provides the greenery in place of the trees in this design. Simple gold ornaments tie it all together.
It also provides some seasonal lighting to the entry.
At the moment I’m still struggling to choose the look I want this year. A little help will be greatly appreciated! Which is your favorite???

I vote for Tree Farm!
Thanks so much Susan! I just got an email saying the same thing. I’m leaning that way too!
Hi they are all great! But my favorite is the buffalo check, that deer is so cute, the basket awesome, I love the printable of the house on the third one too. Love them all, not sure that was much help but you did such a good job on them all but the deer and basket make me say buffalo check!!!
Thank you Debbie! It does help! So far every email and comment says go with the buffalo check. I do love that deer too. He will be out somewhere through the winter months too.

Love to Cooper so glad hes doing better hes so adorable
Awwwww! Thanks so much! He is just the sweetest little guy!
i’m very nostalic when it comes to Christmas Toyland reminds me of times spent at my grammas christmas (i’m 78)..i still decorate with old hand-made (from the kids and grands) friends etc. i also collect teddy bears. we cut our own tree on our property every christmas .huggzz Cooper from My furbaby Liberty and Merry Christmas to all
Oh! Another teddy bear collector!!! Welcome Gail! Those sweet little faces are so hard to resist. Toyland takes me back to Grandma’s too. Christmas is that one time of year that I really don’t like change. Just like there are things that remind us of Christmas pasts, I want it to be the same for my children. They will remember that one particular thing that was always on mom’s mantel or on our Christmas table. It’s nice to know at 78 years young, you’re still decorating for the season. I’m cutting back some but still going strong. Thank you and thank Liberty for the good wishes. We are determined to get Cooper back to 100%. Have a beautiful Christmas season!
Love them ALL. But, I gotta say the “Touch of Elegance” is my favorite this year!
Thank you! Gold accents are always so pretty this time of year.
Denise, I love all three. I think there is something that I would incorporate in my displays from each one. My entry is very small but I try to make it pretty and welcoming for every season. It is what every other room is judged by. Merry Christmas to you and thank you for your lovely visit to me. I have left an answer under your comment. Happy Holidays..xxoJudy
Thanks so much Judy! I am looking forward to having a smaller entry when we downsize. Ours is not huge but big enough to take a lot of time each season. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Holiday season!
They all look nice but I like the last one. All the gold and the lights just makes me smile. Thanks so much for linking up at the Unlimited Link Party 93. Shared.
Thanks Dee! Loved your Santa Claus post btw!
