3 Beautiful Ways to Style Your Holiday Entry Table

Decorating for the holidays is always such fun. Making sure you’ve created a warm and welcoming vibe for your holiday visitors is the icing on the cake! Today I’m sharing 3 beautiful ways to style your holiday entry table.

There’s nothing I love more than entertaining during this special time of year. Whether it’s a quiet evening with a group of good friends or a full on holiday party, I want that special, festive, feeling to start the moment they step through the front door. To accomplish that, takes a bit of creativity, some trial and error, and a few of your favorite holiday treasures.

1. TOYLAND

My favorite visitors this time of year are always the little ones. Seeing the magic of the season through their eyes is the goal in my first holiday entry table design.

Although we want them to understand the true meaning of Christmas eventually, the anticipation of that visit from Santa is such a fun time.

Do you remember your first doll from Santa Claus? I’m not sure if it was actually my first but there was a year that the only thing I wanted was a Chatty Cathy doll.

Being a teddy bear collector, I am just as excited for a new bear now as I was at 3 years old and who doesn’t love a snowman?

Lights always add so much to any display. Candles and light up decorations should always have a place in the entry.

I take full advantage of my printables this time of year too. They are a wonderful way to keep the cost of decorating to a minimum.

Old toys such as this fire truck help add to the nostalgia this table brings to mind.

The final touch here is a water lantern in the shape of the book, Twas the night before Christmas. The moving glitter when the lantern is turned on captivates everyone, especially the little ones. It really brings the magic of the season home.

TREE FARM

Some of my favorite times with our kids were the annual outings to the Christmas Tree Farm. Finding a tree that everyone liked was always a challenge but each year we ended up with “the best one ever!”

This design reminded me of those treasured memories. I was also able to bring in the buffalo checked accents that I love so much.

I used my Mistletoe Farms print here and a cute little buffalo checked deer.

I took advantage of several trees from my miniature Christmas village as well as my winter stash.

A balsam candle adds the fragrance that you can enjoy when you visit any tree farm.

A basket with a warm throw and a pillow that blends with the theme brings in that winter feel.

Of course, we need a little bit of welcoming light! Twinkle lights on the tree and the pretty lantern accomplishes that.

A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE

Another great way to go is to bring a touch of elegance to the table so to speak. Nothing speaks to elegance as much as gold.

A gold frame holds one of my favorite printables from this year’s collection and coordinates well with a pretty gold mercury tree and a standing noel sign.

I added a gold bow I had on hand from last year’s packages to bring the lampshade into the season. A small pin holds it in place there. Large candlesticks hold some gold sparkle candles on the opposite side.

A pretty gold deer brings additional sparkle and a velvet Christmas stocking adds more depth to the picture.

Stacked pillows bring a bit of warmth to the table. A rich tapestry pillow paired with one for the Christmas season, complete with gold sewn on beads, looks so pretty!

Garland provides the greenery in place of the trees in this design. Simple gold ornaments tie it all together.

It also provides some seasonal lighting to the entry.
