First off, I am no spring Chicken! I am a 60ish wanna be grandma with a lot to say. I am a wife of 18 years (2nd times a charm), the mother of two wonderful adult children, a decorator, a writer, and a dog mom whose adorable “babies” you will see often. And now…I am a blogger! In addition, I am and have always been a homebody. Because of this, making sure my home is warm and welcoming is a major commitment for me.

While raising kids was the best time of my life so far, money was tight. So purchasing new decor for my home was always low on the totem pole. But as each new season rolled around, I found myself wanting to change my surroundings. So I began to “shop my home” so to speak. I found so many things I could change to reflect the new season with very little cost. My seasonal need for change became something that my family and friends embraced. They looked forward to each season wondering “what will she do next?”

Full disclosure… I am the decorator at my house but the only reason I have a ” home ” is because of the people you see here. You can have a house anytime and any place.
