When I think about spring, the first thing that comes to mind for me are the flowers! Some of the most beautiful and fragrant flowers bloom in the springtime. They represent the start of a brand new year. The season of renewal at it’s very best! Here are just a few that are the very definition of spring.

Two more days! Spring arrives in TWO more days! I really can’t wait this year. I do love my seasons but my spring cleaning is done, the grass is getting green, and I am ready for warmer weather. Unfortunately it looks like I will have to wait awhile longer for that last part. That terrible weatherman just said 6-8 inches of snow on Thursday! But it’s gorgeous today and I am forging ahead with my spring decorating despite the forecast. Right now I am working on my spring staircase.

Decorating with lanterns gives you such a great tool for your seasonal home. If you want to, you can put in one pretty candle and be done! There are times during the year that I have done just that and it was enough. But decorating with lanterns for spring can be much more versatile than that!

Spring! Such a glorious time of the year. Everything is fresh and clean. A wonderful new beginning is taking place both inside and out.
