Essential Oil Blends For the Seasons

If you follow the blog, then you know I am in love with my diffuser. Finding blends for each season has become an obsession of sorts. While I have nothing against candles (I have quite a few) I just feel like there are greater benefits diffusing Essential Oil Blends.

It has long been thought that oils can help with relaxation, sleep, even your overall mood can be improved. I’ve done a few posts about the benefits of aromatherapy in the past but I have never done a roundup. So today, I thought I would gather all the blends that I love together for a reference page of sorts. So here we go:

Summer Blends

Summer is a great time to experiment with blends. So many of the oils that are used this time of year are wonderful all alone so mixed together, it’s hard to miss.

I love the scents of summer. They remind me of gardens, farmers markets, and walks on the beach! I have shared last year’s favorites and some new ones discovered just recently.

Calming Blends

Have you ever noticed just how much a scent can affect your mood? How you wake up in the morning groggy and even before you take a sip, the smell of coffee helps to open your eyes? How the scent of a flower reminds you of happier times? These blends are meant to to exactly that. I use them as a stress reliever when I’m upset or anxious. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a day of 2020 when I didn’t diffuse at least one!

Autumn Blends

Autumn scents remind me of trips to the pumpkin patch, jumping in leaf piles as a kid, and a glass of cider in front of the fire. Although I am not in any rush for summer to leave us yet, I believe in preparation! I want to make sure I have the right Essential Oils on hand when the first leaves fall!

Christmas Blends

Who doesn’t love the scents of Christmas Time? The smell of the Christmas tree when you first bring it in from outside or cookies baking in the oven. Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, I literally have my diffuser going 24/7. I have shared my favorite Christmas Essential Oil Blends here and in the Library as well.

Winter Blends

The winter blends are woodsy, clean, and very representative of the season. Since I am cold all the time, a walk through the winter woods is out of the question for me! I am happy to sit in front of the fire and enjoy the pine tree scents while warm and cozy inside.

Spring Blends

The spring blends remind me of the first breath of spring flowers after a long winter. Rose, Lavender, and Ylang Ylang are must have oils in your collection when springtime arrives.
