2022 Spring Home Tour-Fresh and Easy Decorating Ideas

Spring is here at last and I’ve got some fresh and easy decorating ideas to celebrate the season. I’d like to share them with you today and welcome you to my 2022 Spring Home Tour!

A springtime home always starts with a pretty front porch. The Colorado weather did its best to disrupt my schedule this year but we’ve finally pulled it off.

Welcome to my 2022 Spring Home Tour

If you’ve been following the blog for awhile then you know I tend to recycle my decorations for each season. I use a lot of the same elements that I’ve always used but I change them up from year to year and season to season. So please, come on in and see this year’s version of spring at My Home of all Seasons.

Fresh Spring Entry

One of my favorite signs that spring has arrived comes from the birds. They are everywhere, busily building their nests. I love to watch and since our home is a walkout, the back of the house is treetop level. They put so much time and effort into making it just right. I get that. We all want to make our nests perfect. The entry is dedicated to that very thing.

Of course a welcome sign is just a must. Although different from last years, it’s along the same lines. You will find both versions available in the Printable Library.

Spring branches go a long way towards adding the wow factor to any table. I used faux branches here but it won’t be long until the real thing blooms out front. In the meantime, I’ve added some downed twigs from the yard for a fuller look.

With just a few more additions, I think the entry has the welcoming feel I was looking for!

Spring Vibes in the Living Room

Although rarely used, I added the formal living room to my spring home tour since it is the first thing you see when coming inside. The tables here needed a touch of spring for that reason. I used one of my favorite basket trays for a spring vignette. You can see the full design in my latest post, 5 Easy Springtime Tray Ideas to Celebrate the Season.

I also added a few touches to the side tables here and there.

Spring Dining Room Update

It’s been awhile since we’ve used the dining room for an Easter celebration. Our plans are still up in the air this year as well. Still, with so much space on the table, I felt a little bit of spring would be welcome here as well.

Bunnies in the Kitchen

Have I mentioned just how much I love my kitchen? There was a time, not all that long ago, when it was my least favorite room in the house. Take a look at my post, Updating the Kitchen, and you’ll see why!

The kitchen is now my favorite place to decorate for my spring home tour. Although my bunnies have taken over every room in the house, they really spread out in the kitchen.

This year, they have completely taken over the coffee bar…

They even hopped up to the space above the cabinets!

And made a home inside my lamp too!

I drew the line when they landed on the breakfast table. Benjamin really is adorable there but…

I convinced him to join his friends in the dining room. The breakfast table is so much prettier with my favorite sign of the season!

Before we move on to the family room, let’s take a quick look at the console that helps to separate that room from the kitchen.

Tying this table into both rooms is always a challenge. I tend to just add touches of my kitchen look but let the table blend into the family room. To accomplish that today, I’ve added some buffalo checked eggs to the moss balls and a pillow with a checked truck as well.

But of course… the bunnies steal the spotlight!

Pretty in Pink -Spring Family Room

The family room is our main hangout most days. When things warm up a little more, we tend to spend most of our time in our outdoor spaces. However, for the moment, this is it. My goal is to make this room as warm and welcoming as possible to family and guests.

The mantel is always my starting point in this room. Since this is the focal point here as well as from the kitchen, it’s important to me that the season is prevalent in the decor.

While not the traditional mantel I’ve always loved in past homes, it more than makes up for it with the space it provides. The picture in the center is one of my favorites. With the mountains in the background, it feels familiar to me. Something I will see again very soon on our Sunday morning drives. A quiet Sunday morning last year produced the picture below and reminds me just how beautiful Colorado is!

A few of my favorite projects found a home in this space this season. However, I know I will change things a hundred times over the next few weeks!

Moving things around and changing the look is all part of the fun. Eventually through the process, I will find what will be the perfect place in my eyes. Unfortunately, that normally happens the week before I take it all down to start the next season!

One of my favorite projects this year was the beaded wreath I made at the beginning of the season. It originally found a spot on the sofa table.

It has since become a part of this year’s spring ladder. The colors work perfectly here.

Shades of rose are everywhere in this room. It’s become my favorite pastel over the years.

You’ll find it’s prominent in the pillows and throws throughout the room as well as on the walls.

Spring has finally sprung at My Home of All Seasons! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed your tour!
