Fall is upon us and it’s time to paint our homes with some vibrant autumn colors! Well… maybe not “paint” exactly but certainly we can splash a little bit of color here and there. Today I’m sharing my latest printables to help you get ready for this cozy, new season!
A Little Bit of Fall Outside the Window
What i’ve always loved about this house is the fact that my kitchen sits among the trees. Being a walk-out, the kitchen is level with the trees rather than the yard. Because of this, I have the most beautiful views this time of year! Those views are the inspiration for the first of my new autumn prints.
An Autumn Stroll
Once the trees begin to change, I love to take a stroll around the neighborhood each day to follow their progress. Every day seems to be more brilliant than the one before. My favorite Emily Bronte quote captures the feeling perfectly.
I am perfectly happy just to while the day away sitting on a bench in the park nearby.
The Colors of the Season
I have always been in love with the traditional fall colors. I’ve seen so many pretty neutral displays over the years but I always come back to the reds, orange, and gold. Filling a vase with leaves is a favorite decoration of mine. Nature makes the best decorations don’t you think?
Warm and Cozy
There are so many adjectives that describe the fall season but the two that I strive for when decorating are simply, warm and cozy. I could easily recreate the scene below and call it good! But… I’m gonna need a cat!
Autumn in the Country
Taking a Sunday drive in the country is the perfect way to spend a lazy autumn afternoon. I am amazed at how peaceful it is there. I feel the same with each visit to the mountains during the fall months. The splendor of nature is on full display with either trip.
A trip to one of any number of pumpkin patches nearby is always on my bucket list too!
Fall in the Kitchen
Kitchens are always warm and cozy to me but nevermore so then in this season. The last two printables this year are the perfect size for a tiered tray or a pretty addition to your autumn coffee bar.
