Prime Day Deals start tomorrow! Are you ready??? Have you made that deal with the dog yet? Have you found the perfect hiding spot for the Christmas presents? Do you have your list of “but it’s on sale” items? Time is running out! Let’s get busy people!

Saying goodbye to our fur babies is one of life’s greatest sorrows. They hold a space in our hearts that was theirs alone. When they must leave us, which is always way too soon, the emptiness inside is profound.

A new state, a new house, and new adventures ahead! Letting go of the past and embracing the next chapter in life is a learned skill that requires a new attitude as well. Bring it on, Arizona! I’m ready!

From the title of this post, you might assume I have the answer to that question. The truth is, I’m still trying to figure it all out. It’s my hope that by sharing what I’ve learned so far, you’ll be prompted to do the same!

If you’re like us, there is no such thing as a pet. There is only the extension of the family. We adopt a cat or dog, love them with all our hearts, and one day, always way too soon, we have to say goodbye. The greatest gift we can give them is letting go when we know it’s the right thing.

Leaving our home of over twenty years is hard to say the least. I have heard from so many of you who know that firsthand. But today I wanted to share some of the thoughts and feelings I’m experiencing with those of you preparing to make a move of your own. This is my bittersweet farewell to a place filled with memories.

Beauty. There are so many definitions of the word and we all strive to create it every day. In our homes, in the way we look, in our lives in general. But I’ve come to the conclusion that true beauty is not something we, as humans, can really create. The beauty that surrounds us all is already there. We just need to actually SEE it!

During Amazon Prime Days last July, we had determined that Amazon was not going to bring you a puppy. So you said, “a kitty then?” I asked and they are still being real sticklers about it! No kitty for this sale either! But… they said YES to the home decor and gifts that I know you want almost as much!

Ok! So Amazon is not going to bring you a puppy. But they can bring you just about anything else you can think of! Prime Day is almost here and if you follow my 3-step Prime Day Shopping Guide, well, let’s just say… fun will be had by all!
