Creating an Easy Outdoor Patriotic Tablescape

With the Fourth of July fast approaching, today I am sharing an easy outdoor patriotic tablescape just in time for the holiday.

Life is finally returning to normal and we are beginning to embrace all the things we love about a Colorado summer once again. Tonight we will be having dinner on the deck with some friends we’ve missed so much. Such a joy and since the Fourth is right around the corner, a patriotic theme is in order tonight.

Fresh Flowers

Creating any pretty tablescape just has to start with fresh flowers! In keeping with my theme, we needed red, white, and blue flowers to compliment the patriotic tablescape. Red roses, baby’s breath and bluebells are the perfect choice I think. To keep it a little more casual, I used ball jars for the flowers and I love the look!

Red, White, and Blue Place Settings

Wanting to use my color scheme throughout the design, I did a lot of mixing and matching. I used white chargers, red dinner plates, blue salad plates, and alternating red and blue napkins.

I used simple Pip Berry napkin rings that I made earlier this month.

A Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere

Whether you’re creating an intimate dinner for two or a dinner party of any size, candlelight brings so much to the overall look. I used two red battery operated pillars to add some ambiance to my patriotic tablescape. I also placed a strawberry candle jar there as well to add a summery scent to the air.

The strawberry scent tied in perfectly with the light and fruity beverages I put on ice for this evening!

Patriotic Decor Elements

Since I have finished decorating my home for the Fourth, I had some pretty patriotic elements to add to my table. Most importantly, our beautiful flag is flying high!

The table is ready and we are so excited to spend a wonderful evening with amazing friends that we’ve missed so much!
