Spring Prints and a Scavenger Hunt! Oh My!

With spring finally here and Easter right around the corner, I am still in my decorating mode. My 2021 Spring Home Tour is up on the blog but I still see changes I want to make. With that in mind, I have added some additional spring prints to the library. A few favorites from last year and a few I created while watching the snow fall last weekend.

Although I’ve accepted another Easter without a houseful of family and friends, I refuse to completely ignore this beautiful holiday! I will be adding a few Easter prints to my walls. It is my hope that wherever you are, vaccinations are further along and an Easter celebration with your loved ones is being planned right now! Maybe you’ll find something here that will help!

Follow that Bunny

This was a favorite spring print from last year. The look of surprise or maybe a bit of fright on this bunny’s adorable face is perfect for the caption! He has a basket full of chocolate and is worried about losing it!

Butterflies and Ladybugs

I love butterflies and ladybugs! Butterflies are just so beautiful. One of my favorite field trips that I went on when my kids were little was to the Butterfly Pavilion. I don’t know how many were flying around but it seemed like a million! I also love little ladybugs. They are so helpful to have around the garden.

You Are Loved

For those in the Christian faith, as Easter approaches, it’s important to think about the true meaning behind the day. It’s not just bunnies and baskets after all! With the scars of 2020 fading but still very much a part of our lives, I wanted to offer this reminder for anyone who needs it. Easter art with a message!

Bunny Kisses

I love these little bunnies! This was another favorite from last year so I thought I would share it again in case you missed it! What would spring prints be without bunnies???

Spring Brings Hope

Spring and hope seemed to have always gone hand in hand. There is something about this season that just brings hope for the future every year. Nevermore than in 2021! I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes about this very thing.

Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies

I just can’t get enough bunnies this time of year! Wouldn’t it be fun if this was a real thing??? I would send flowers to everyone I know if this cute little truck with a bunny behind the wheel pulled up outside!

Easter Scavenger Hunt

I created this Easter Scavenger Hunt last year when most of the world was in the middle of a lockdown. At the time, I remember thinking how awful it was that it came right before the holiday. I thought about all the little ones who would be disappointed that Easter at Grandma’s house had been cancelled. I knew parents everywhere were scrambling to make it special and come up with ideas to brighten up the day. So I put this together thinking at least it might make up for the easter egg hunt that wasn’t going to happen. My goal was to stretch it out as long as possible hiding clues around the house.

Little did I know that we would go in and out of lockdowns for the rest of the year! Although things are getting better, I know there are still many places where new lockdowns are just beginning. So with that in mind, I have added it back into the Library for another year.

The hunt starts with a foldable card meant to be placed on a child’s pillow from the Easter Bunny himself. As spring prints go, this one is great for the little ones!
