Summer Printable Art

Printable Art is such a fun and inexpensive way to welcome in the new season. Summer! I am so anxious for its arrival! So far, spring has been much colder than normal and I am ready for some sunshine. With that in mind, I have been working on bringing touches of the upcoming season to every room in the house.  One of my favorite ways to do that is with printable art.  I have added some of last year’s favorites back into the Printable Library as well as some new ones. I’m hoping you will find something here that will help you as you welcome summer into your home too!

Coastal Summer Decor

This is the time of year when I can display our love of the ocean wherever I please.  I simply cannot get enough of it.  I am anticipating several trips to the coast this year and I cannot wait to get there.  To me, there is nothing more relaxing then walking along the beach with a shell in my pocket.

I use seashells all over the house in my summer decor.  They inspired quite a few of my printables this year.  These three make a pretty grouping but can be used individually as well.

Seashells also inspired this poem that I have framed and displayed with some jeweled shells on my sofa table.

Printable Art as Gifts

Printables make wonderful gifts when put inside a pretty frame. I give them quite often and they are always a hit. Invariably, you can find the perfect one that speaks to that special person in your life with very little effort.

These three were created with my daughter in mind. She is a California girl through and through and spends every free minute at the beach. We have called her a mermaid since she was a little girl. Years of boating with us has taught her to have a healthy respect for the ocean she loves yet she has no fear. She finds a peace there that is priceless. We miss her every day but I am so glad that she is right where she needs to be.

Lemon Themed Printables

The one room in the house that does not have an ocean motif is the kitchen.  I like a bright, sunny, summer kitchen so lemons are my choice there.

This year, I decked out my coffee bar with lemons as well. I used a smaller version of the coffee printable and it was a perfect final touch!

Bring in the Bees!

In addition to the lemons,  I brought some bees into the mix.  I was amazed at all the adorable bee themed items in all the stores. Unable to resist bringing some of it home, I created some printable art to compliment my displays.

I concentrated the bees in one area, a tiered tray. I think I might want to expand on that when I decorate for summer next year. They are just so cute and mesh so well with the lemons! I love adding a banner to my tiered trays each season and this year was no exception. You can find a quick tutorial in my post Bee Happy with Your Tiered Tray Design post. The simple printable needed to make your own banner is in the library as well.

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That

The essence of summer is different for everyone. For me, summer means trips to the ocean. Salt air, waves, and seashells. But realizing that may not be your thing, I wanted to share some printables that might better define the summer months for you.

Special Summer Days

The first day of summer this year, while always wonderful, is made even more so as it is also Father’s Day. I have added some special printables back into the library to honor the incredible Dads in our lives.

I will be working on my Fourth of July additions in the next week so be sure to check back in. We are planning on an outdoor Fourth celebration this year with all our vaccinated friends. Having never done anything other than a BBQ in the past, we thought a party was definitely in order this time around! Patriotic printables will definitely be a part of it!
