3 Easy Ways to Style a Fabulous Spring Tiered Tray

Spring is on its way and with it comes a new opportunity to decorate! It’s time to brighten things up after the muted shades of winter. So today I’m sharing 3 easy ways to style a fabulous spring tiered tray for the new season.

Tiered trays are a great way to bring any new season into focus. They take up little space but can pack such a punch when they are done right. Choosing the perfect elements for the theme you have in mind is half the battle. From there, it’s all about the placement, balance, and filling in the blanks!

Do the Bunny Hop

I can’t imagine a spring tray that doesn’t include at least one bunny. They are just so much a part of this beautiful time of year. Once the grass starts to green, the bunnies will be everywhere at my house. As they multiply, keeping the babies safe from the puppies is a full time job.

The two bunnies on my tray won’t need to worry though. They are safe and secure on my kitchen island.

I always try to include a printable sign on every tray. The written word seems to provide a bit of balance to any design. I think it’s appropriate that a bunny should be a featured in this one!

Since this tray will be visible from all sides, there can be no skimping on the backside. So, I made sure the tray residents will have some veggies for the season! Greenery is always a must for a spring tray.

All in all, I think the bunnies will be happy here, don’t you? To shop this tray and several of the elements that will help you do a Bunny Hop of your own, check out the Create the Look section of the blog.

Rise and Shine

Using a smaller tray that can be put into a corner, might be a better fit if space is at a premium. Placing your tray in a corner requires less elements since all can be concentrated on the front side as well.

While the rooster is the focal point here, I used a few bunnies as well. They add to the springy feel and the moss covered pair brings some green to the mix.

The printable for this tray makes sure the rooster is the star!

Green with Envy

I was always taught that envy is the most destructive of emotions. Choosing to be grateful for all we have is a much better road to travel. I try to live by that but I struggle a bit in the winter months. I hear from friends and family living in warmer climates and I can’t help but feel a little tinge of jealousy. I’m longing for the green grass and green trees that I see in all their pictures.

It’s important to remind myself though, that all the snow we’ve shoveled will bring a gorgeous green lawn very soon. That thought is the inspiration for this design.

With a round tray being a little harder to corner, both sides of my Green with Envy tray needed a spring refresh.

I felt a little bit of a farmhouse vibe was called for as well.

Since I didn’t include a bunny in the design itself, I made sure the printable for this tray had a few!

  1. Very cute options for spring styling, and I love the printables. Happy Spring, Denise! Is it there to stay yet, has the snow all melted? We’ve finally seen what I hope is the last of the freezing temps at night. Everything’s growing, and my daffodils actually lasted almost a month with early Feb warming temps. I think when the temps reverted back to cold, it actually helped preserve the daffs longer! I love it.

    1. Thanks so much Rita! It snowed again just last night. Nothing much but just enough to remind me that March is Colorado’s snowiest month. I know there will be a big storm coming soon because we are selling our snow blower today lol! Not sure where we will end up in the future but for now, we are hoping to move into a condo with snow maintenance. If it wasn’t for our son, I’m not sure how we would have gotten through the winter! I simply cannot wait to see your posts as we move further into the season. Gardening is something I miss but just can’t do anymore. I limit myself to containers these days. I know you’ll post some gorgeous pictures on your blog as you make your new place your own! Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy spring to you!

  2. Those are really pretty. I especially like the black and wooden tray on Bunny Hop and the head of cabbage 🙂 My fav all over would be Green with Envy. Thanks so much for linking up at the #UnlimitedLinkParty 106. Shared.

    1. Thanks Dee. That’s my favorite too. There is zero green outside here and snow on the way again tonight. Just over it! Have a great week.
