I’m guessing right now every one of us has someone in our lives who is considered an “essential worker.” There are several in mine. I am proud of them, I am scared for them, and I am so incredibly grateful to them all!
I created this printable simply to say thank you. Thank you to the doctors and nurses, and hospital workers. Thank you to our first responders, the grocery store workers, delivery people, and the countless others who are working so hard to take care of all of us.
I’d love to be able to say thank you in person. Even just by phone. That’s hard to do these days because while I am trying to keep myself busy, they are busier than they have ever been.
So I will print this, frame it, and display it to let the ones in my life know I’m grateful. I will print it and leave it on my door for the people who bring my groceries, packages, and take out. I will let them all KNOW that I KNOW how amazing they truly are.
The truth is, not that long ago, these people got up every morning and went to work. They did their jobs and went home to live their lives. That was yesterday. Normalcy is long gone for all of us especially those we now call Essential Workers. Today, they are out there, on the front lines and they really are working overtime to save the world.
