Dive into Summer Decorating with a Brand New Printable

Here comes SUMMER, ready or not! In case you’re running a little behind with your summer decorating, I’ve created a few brand new printables to get you started.

The summer season has certainly crept up on me this year! I’ve been focused on packing and staging and have barely come up for air. We will be listing this house and moving on to a new adventure very soon.

With that decision comes a flood of emotions. A bit of sadness leaving the home we’ve loved for 20 plus years mixed with a little excitement for the next chapter. A lot of anxiety about the unknown peppered with a sense of peace now that the decision has been made. There is also some frustration for the work that still needs to be done. It is, however, tempered with pride for the beautiful house we’ve created. In other words… I’m a mess!

So… I decided to take a break from it all and spend what’s turned into a gorgeous day out on the deck. Since my conscience won’t let me sit idly by, I thought I’d create some printables and share them with all of you while I enjoy the summer sun!

Coastal Vibes

Summer for me means a trip to the coast every year. Spending time by the sea re-centers me. The mountains are beautiful but they just can’t bring me the peace I find in watching the ebb and flow of the ocean. My summer decorating has always included the treasures found on some of those trips. This year’s coastal offerings are based on the places I would love to live if the opportunity came along.

Farm Feelings

One of the things I love on my walks around Parker, are the barns that pop up here and there. Some hold a part of the town’s historic past while others are newly added for livestock. Either way, I find them beautiful and thought I needed a few in the Library this year.

I will be using this one in a wreath in the kitchen for staging this year. I did a short post on that along with links to the supplies you’ll need to make one of your own for your summer kitchen. This print is free to all but can only be found in the post itself. You can see it and how I’ve used it by clicking here.

Home Sweet Home

Obviously, my printables this year also reflect what’s first and foremost on my mind… home. If you’ve followed the blog through the years than you know as much as I’ve loved this house, I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with the front porch. I’ve longed for the big covered porch that I see on all the old victorians around town. Maybe next time!

A Little of This, A Little of That

Sunflowers and Lemons are favorite props of mine to use in the summer season. I couldn’t resist adding a few to this year’s collection.

And of course, we can’t forget the kiddos! Lemonade stands are popping up all over my neighborhood.

All you need is a fine point sharpie to personalize this sign for your little one. Adding their name at the top and the price on the lemon will make it extra special!

Happy Fourth!

I love decorating for the Fourth of July! Unfortunately, this year I will be keeping it to the bare minimum. Still, I needed just a few to keep me in the present.

Switching out the Berry Farm print above in favor of this patriotic scene brings my summer wreath into the holiday as well. Check it out here.

I’m hoping this collection will help you get a jump on your summer decorating this year!
