Easy Christmas Ladder Decor

At Christmas Time, everything in the house can become a holiday decoration. This easy Christmas ladder decor has become a favorite again this year!

It’s time to put together my favorite seasonal decoration.  I know I’ve said this a hundred times but it’s so true.  

For years now, whenever I buy something for my home, I ask myself one very important question… is it seasonal?  For my ladder, the answer was immediate.  Yes!  I could imagine all the fun ways to decorate it with seasonal themes all through the year. It was an easy purchase that I’ve never regretted.

Last year, the ladder was done with a teddy bear theme.  Using bears, lanterns, and greenery, I absolutely loved it.  

All Hearts Come Home For Christmas

This year, I decided to go with a “home” theme for my Christmas Ladder Decor. In fact, it was the ladder that inspired my “All hearts come home for Christmas” shadow box.

I decided that would become the focal point. Fastened on with twine and a pretty festive bow, it’s exactly what I needed for the top rung!

I used the garland from last year in much the same way and added a pretty forest green knit throw as well. It is a blanket ladder after all!

The pretty house pictures were found at Walmart early in the season and I thought they would be great for this year’s theme.

I also found no reason to change the basket of pine cones. They are such a pretty addition this time of year. The best part is that they can stay in place even when the holiday season ends. We will still have months of winter to go and they will fit in perfectly when I make the change from Christmas to winter.

The ladder has been put in the corner for the remainder of the season. It needed to be moved to accommodate the “little” family room tree. I think it’s a fair swap!

With its light up shadow box, it will still be noticeable in the new spot too. I’ve added it to the Create the Look page as well in case you’d like to have one of your own!
