Those of you who follow the blog know I have a thing for signs.  You also know my loving husband’s take on that (see: Signs of the Season – Autumn).  Despite the constant comments from him, I went about the task of putting up my Christmas signs and writing my Signs of the Season, Christmas Edition post.

The house is overflowing with Christmas decorations from top to bottom.  It’s a lot of work but soooo worth it.  Perhaps the most time consuming thing that I do is the miniature Christmas village that spans an entire wall on the lower level. Today, I’m sharing it with you!

Teddy bears have always been a big part of my decor.  I absolutely love them, so it is no surprise that I have accumulated quite the collection over the years! More than any other time of the year, my bears play a central role in my Christmas season decor.  So we would like to wish you a beary merry Christmas and show you how we celebrate!

I am all decked out for the holidays and I will be doing my 2020 Christmas Home Tour right after Thanksgiving! For the moment though, I thought I would share some of my favorite decorations with you. No surprise…they are my holiday lanterns!

Tis the season! Well almost! One of the easiest ways to bring the season to your home is with printable art. Whatever your style, Christmas printable art will enhance it. It can be as simple as a Christmas phrase or as detailed as an entire Christmas scene. Today, I am so excited to share my Christmas creations with you!

I love the look of greenery around hanging light fixtures at Christmas time. I just don’t like the prices! So…I decided to make one and see if it would turn out ok. Which brings me to this post DIY Chandelier Wreath.

While I would never give up my coffee bar on a permanent basis, we are about to enter that time of year when hot chocolate often becomes the beverage of choice in this house. So… I thought I would put together a simple hot chocolate bar to share with all of you!

And so it begins…my quest to have a beautifully decorated home so I can simply enjoy the season once it’s here! I’ve pretty much got that down to a science but it took me a good 40 years to get to this place! Transitioning from Autumn to Christmas is just so much fun with the right tools.
