A great big THANK YOU to our Essential Workers

I’m guessing right now every one of us has someone in our lives who is considered an “essential worker.” There are several in mine. I am proud of them, I am scared for them, and I am so incredibly grateful to them all!

I created this printable simply to say thank you. Thank you to the doctors and nurses, and hospital workers. Thank you to our first responders, the grocery store workers, delivery people, and the countless others who are working so hard to take care of all of us.

DIY -Fairy Patio Lantern – Miniature Fairy Garden

Ok! You’re right! It is too early to put plants and flowers outside in Colorado. I always adhere to the Mother’s Day rule. But this year, it is just so much harder! The weather is beautiful this week and we are spending a lot of time outside. The grass is turning green and the lilacs are beginning to bud. The patio is normally full of plants and flowers. But it really is too early! So I decided to make a Spring Patio Lantern that I can simply carry inside if the weather turns.

The 10 best herbs for beginners

I am obsessed with herbs! I am always trying new ones, some with success, others a complete failure. Different herbs require different climates, different soil consistency, a multitude of factors. As a result, Aromatherapy is finally getting the kudos it has long deserved.

A miracle, so that the Class of 2020 will get to go to their Senior Prom, so they can walk across the stage in front of all their classmates with an audience full of family members cheering on their achievements.

Easter Scavenger Hunt

This year Easter will be very different for all of us. Although I no longer have little ones at home, I’m well aware that so many things will change for those who do. With social distancing rules extended to the end of April, community Easter egg hunts are out of the question. In addition, big family gatherings at Grandma’s house will also remain off limits. I put together this Easter Scavenger Hunt with hopes that it might help you make the day as special as possible.

Easter Tablescapes

I have had this post planned for quite awhile. The perfect Easter tablescape is such an important part of making your holiday special. A beautiful table sets the tone for a wonderful celebration. However, given what we are all facing this year, we have no plans for a traditional Easter celebration at my house. Still, I decided to go ahead and post it anyways.
