It is -3 degrees outside as I write this post.  I won’t be starting my spring cleaning today!  Today I will sit in my favorite chair by the fireplace, drink another cup of coffee, and enjoy my cozy winter home.  

Spring fever has not set in yet.  I know it’s coming but at the moment, I am still enjoying the cozy feeling of my winter home.  While it is just too early to start my spring cleaning, I do feel the need to get organized.  Spring organizing at my house is a yearly ritual.

When it comes to decorating your home, the most important thing to accomplish is that it depicts who you are. You need to remember that the only people who matter are the people who live there. Of course you want a home that is pleasing to the eye. Of course you want a place that is comfortable for your guests. But the overall goal is to make sure it’s a place that you love. Spring is here and so are the babies! Well almost! I am anxiously awaiting two. One will be here very soon and the other is not far behind. I’m so excited to meet them both!

I have had this post planned for quite awhile. The perfect Easter tablescape is such an important part of making your holiday special. A beautiful table sets the tone for a wonderful celebration. However, given what we are all facing this year, we have no plans for a traditional Easter celebration at my house. Still, I decided to go ahead and post it anyways.
