How to Put Together a Tropical Terrarium with Fairy Flair

Last spring I put together a fairy lantern for my downstairs patio. I loved it so much that I decided to do a second one to keep indoors this year. For those of you who follow the blog, you know My Home of All Seasons is here in Colorado. While I wasn’t born and raised here, it has been my home since 1982. I do not have the “native” bumper sticker with the mountains in the background on my car. I list Ohio as my birthplace on all paperwork. But both my children were born here and to me, it is most definitely Home.

Spring Home Tour 2021

Finally! It’s the first day of spring! It certainly seemed to take forever to get here this year! The snow storm we had last week was a reminder just how crazy springtime in the Rockies really is! One day it’s 70 degrees outside and the next there is two feet of snow! But today it’s a balmy 62 so I’ll take it! Of course, it is supposed to snow again tomorrow but I’m living for today! Spring on Demand – Designing a Spring Vignette

We are late bloomers here in Colorado. Literally. For that reason , I tend to use a lot of faux flowers in my decor this time of year. I’m more than ready for spring to arrive but the weather outside screams winter! To compensate, I will light my favorite spring scented candle ( Flower Shop and you will swear you are inside one! ) and bring out all the pretty faux blossoms and greenery I can find. Spring on demand so to speak!
